Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
My girlfriend and I were arrested for possession of 1.2 grams of marijuana. And she took the blame for my paraphernalia. She has been in trouble before and I have not so she thought she was being chivalrous. I didn't know she had done so until we were being released and I didn't say anything at that point because I didn't want to make the officers angry or get her in trouble for lying about it. What can I do to correct the situation?
