Re: gun charge
Although you don't say exactly what charge the person has against them, in general convictions for gun offenses in New Jersey have a mandatory minimum period of incarceration that must be served upon conviction. With a mandatory minimum period of incarceration, you cannot get out early - you must first complete that mandatory time period. Please contact me if you would like to discuss the specifics of this case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about a case. Thank you.
