Of course. For example, if someone heard the sound of gun discharging and someone was injured by a bullet or a bullet was found lodge in some inanimate object and someone was seen holding what looked like a gun and gun reside from a discharge on his clothes and person that person could be charged with and convicted of possessing a gun when he tried to or did shoot someone.

Call me if you like.

Yes, it is possible to be convicted of gun possession in the absence of a gun. In fact I just had a trial on a case with that same issue, and it did happen. If you are facing charges for gun possession and aggravated assault then you certainly do need a lawyer. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts in New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. Please contact me at your convenience. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

I agree with Mr. Moore, you could be convicted for probably just about anything without any actual physical proof. When you put your fate in the hands of 12 other people, anything can happen.

Hopefully you have an attorney at this point. If you have any other questions, you can call me at 732/247/3340; my initial consultations are always free.
