Hackensack Marijuana Possession
I was arrested for possession of under 50 grams of controlled dangerous substance..a.k.a. the big bad marijauana(i had one gram)..i am on probation in queens, nyc and am not allowed to leave the five boroughs so am facing charges back homein queens for violating probation...what is the realistic outcome of my new jersey case? will they impose a high fine? 5,000? or more?..will they recommend imprisonment of any sort? will i lose my ny drivers license? any advice would be greatly appreciated..thank you

Re: Hackensack Marijuana Possession
Such a large fine for such a small amount of marijuana is unlikely. You could lose the privilege of driving in New Jersey. You need an attorney in Hackensack if you are on probation in New York.
Call me if you like.

Since Mr. Moore is in Hackensack, it probably makes more sense to hire him than me. I suggest you give him a call. If, for some reason, you want to talk to some other attorneys, feel free to give me a call.
The answer you want seems to assume you will be found guilty. Why do you think that? You may (or may not) have a good case. I suggest you talk to an attorney before you throw in the towel. Based off of cases that I have handled, I would imagine that you would have to pay about $500 or less and that you would not face any DL suspension anywhere.
