Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
harassment
My ex boyfriend sent me an email. I responded that I no longer wanted to see him. He fired back another angry email and insulted me then blocked me from emailing him. I sent him a text message that I wish we could have had a civil goodbye. He says he's filing harassment complaint (even though he initiated the emailing) is that possible?

Re: harassment
Anything is possible. Remember, an allegation is not a conviction....innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt always applies!
Another thing, my years in practice tell me that you don't believe someone is filing anything until you actually are served with a copy. Then you start worrying...and consult with a good lawyer.
Get back to me if you need to.
