Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Harassment
I was curious to see your advice. I recieved 5 threatening phone calls from 12:01 am to 1:04 am. I live in new jersey but the calls came from NY. Does this make it a federal case since it involves the crossing of a state line?

I believe it is safer to say that the harassment occurred in New Jersey and that you are entitled to file harrassment charges in New Jersey.
