Don't take this the wrong way, but why don't you have your attorney handle this? If you cannot trust his or her advice, you need a new attorney. If you just don't want to pay for his or her time, I don't think your attorney will be too happy that you are trying to ask other attorneys about this when he or she knows a lot more about it. Again, don't take that the wrong way, I just get worried when I see these types of questions because I don't really understand them. As an attorney, I would be very concerned if my clients had to go somewhere else. As far as I know, that never happens.
Moving on, you don't really ask a specific question. What are you looking to do? Did the court order you to attend AM? I don't see how a court can order that without a hearing. I would need a lot more information about this.

You mention that you have an attorney and then ask for help or advice. Your attorney should be providing these things to you. You can call me to discuss your situation.
Call me if you like.
