Re: hitting a minor

Apparently, you are concerned that the teen's police report will become a criminal complaint, You should speak with an attorney.

Call me if you like.

Re: hitting a minor

This is probably listed as an assault charge, likely a Simple Assault. However, I would need to see the complaint sheet, or at least talk to you about it, before I could know for sure. Anyway you look at it, if a charge is brought against you it is a violation of the New Jersey criminal code and you could be facing high fines and possibly jail time. You should talk to a lawyer to see exactly how bad a charge you are facing. Please give me a call to discuss this. I never charge for just talking to people about their case. Thank you.

Re: hitting a minor

This could be an assualt or an endagering welfare of a child. You should have gotten a complaint and it would have the charges listed under 2c:___-___. Either way the charges are criminal in nature and I would recommending talking to a criminal defense attorney right away.

I can be reached at 201/646/9600.
