Re: House arrest

House arrest is a jail sentence being served confined to one's residence, being allowed to leave for certain activities such as working, seeing the doctor or shopping. While under house arrest one wears an electronic bracelet aroung the ankle which prevents a telephone connection at the place of residence from signaling the county sheriff's office that you have left the premises. When the bracelet is not present at your residence a signal is sent to the sheriff's office that you are out of your residence.

Having said all this I am uncertain as to why your would want to defend against house arrest because house arrest permits one to avoid being in jail.

Re: House arrest

I agree with Mr. Moore, your question does not make any sense and you should buy your attorney a nice holiday gift if he or she got you house arrest as a final sentence.

This is not a very common bail situation with an adult, but is common with juveniles. Look at it this way, you are out of jail.
