Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

My husband's ex-wife is taking him to court over an alleged domestic violence claim. This court case has been going on since March of 2011. It has been postponed multiple times by all sides but ours. We only had to postpone once due to my husband being hospitalized. The courts have postponed it and so has attorneys. I am now 8 months pregnant and high risk at that. All this stress is starting to cause complications in my final month. I am getting cramping and it is effecting the baby. Is there a away to ask the court to have this postponed for another month so that I can safely have my baby? I am high risk so I am having a c-section and know that if my baby doesn't come earlier I will definately have him by a certain date.

Explain the situation to his attorney and it could probably be adjourned again. But since you are not "involved" directly in the case a Judge may deny the request.
