Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Identity Fraud?
I just found out that my cousin has been getting pulled over and giving my name to the cops and getting tickets. I have 4 points on my NJ license because while she was in Maryland she got two tickets and paid them. What can I do to clear my record and fix this with the department of motor vehicle? Since these are two out of state tickets, who do I contact? Please help me out with as much information as possible. Also, how can I prevent her from using my name in the future?
