illegal search and seizure

i just recently had went to court and an illegal search and seizure was ruled , but yet i just recived a letter saying i still have to go to court can still be charged with a crime.

If the evidence seized in the illegal search was suppressed the question is whether any charge can be sustained without the suppressed evidence.
