Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
From indictment to arrest
Hello, would like to know the procedure after an indictment is issued ( vehicular homicide) when should an arrest be made? Example if the vehicular accident occurred in New Jersey but charges were filed on a Pennsylvanian, and the Pennsylvanian was never in a fugitive state, (worked years at the same job, never changed name, voted, etc...) the pennsylvanian was never notified of any warrants, tickets issued. It just seems very scary that the law can take its time and an unknowing person could build a life and then years later come after you, there should be some kind of guidelines or protocol that must be followed from the indictment to the arrest, thank you

If you will call me I will answer your question. It will be a lot easier for me than typing for twenty minutes to answer your question.
