Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Intensive Supervised Parole in N.Jersey
Here's the story- I was wondering what the possibility of this person gaining entry into the ISP program is. Anyway this local man (23) in 2008 was arrested multiple times for drug charges, 3 in total he was charged each time with intent to distribute in a school zone, the drugs were pot and then crack. He received bail both times. Then he decided to steal a car, and lead police on a high speed chase. He was arrested and charged with second degree eluding. The courts then merged all the charges(he was on probation to begin with) and let him pled to 3rd degree eluding. then when sentecing time came he ran, and was charged with bail jumpimg. He was giving 4 years for that crime, and is awaiting sentencing on the other charges.
Anyhow this is only what he got caught for, he is also involved with many other things, and has minors doing his dirty work. My question is is this person likely to gain entry into the prograk. He was never charged with a first degree crime, or any other crime that will automatically stop him from entering the program. Thank You

I don't think he has a chance.
