Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
If a juvenile has a felony that results in a deferred disposition and successfully completes probation, should the matter still show up on his/her record? Or does it need to be expunged? Matter at hand was in NJ a decade ago.

A juvenile deferred disposition should likely not appear on any criminal case history. However, to be absolutely sure, you need to get a background check done. Go to the Morpho Trak website to get details on how to do this. If it turns out that you do have a criminal record then contact me to discuss how I can assist you. Thank you.
