Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
new law being passed about the sale of crack cocaine
I would like to know where can I get information about the new law that is going to be passed in november about the distibution of crack cocaine. My husband recieved 20 years for the distribution of crack cocaine. A friend was telling me a new law was to be in effect as of nov. 2007, could this new law apply to him ? And what can I do to help him get information about this new law. Thank you for any information you can help me with.

New laws are generally not retroactive. That's a pretty rough sentence. Did he appeal?
