Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

lawyer took himself off of case

my friend was picked up for a

warrant from 2004, he had got out

on appeal and did not know he was

to return to court, the lawyer who

was representing him took hisself off

case due to a financial disagreement,

therefore he had no representation

and was not aware he had to go to

court, the charges were possession of

cds and weapons charges, his co-

defendant said in a statement that

he took full responsibility, my

question is how can i fight this, most

lawyers are talking 15000-20000, i

cant afford that but would like to help

him

I am not sure if your friend is in jail or not. Sounds to me like the charges should be able to be resolved quickly. If you want, call my office or email me and I can answer your questions.

The fees quoted to you seem somewhat high for the legal service you describe. Please call me so that we may discuss your friend's situation and what fee I would charge for helping your friend.

Call me if you like.

I am not the cheapest attorney in the world, not by far at all. However, I may be able to come under that price, depending on what we are talking about. Why don't you call me at 732/247/3340 and we can discuss the case.
