Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I live in new jersey and I gave my girlfriend my pain medication so she can help monitor how many I take. She was pulled over and arrested for having it without the bottle. Am I going to be able to get it back and is she going to be fully charged for it?

She will be charged and it is very doubtful that you will ever get it back because it is the evidence. She should retain an attorney asap to deal with the issue.

You need a lawyer - so does she.

It was not a prudent move on your part. If you cannot trust yourself to take as prescribed only, you maybe have an addiction problem. You are welcome to call me to discuss your case. 215-370-2608
