Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
I currently live in the state of New Jersey, Camden county and I have charges pending against me in Burlington county... I believe the charges are breaking in and stealing my neighbor's medication, however my neighbor gave me her key and permission to enter at any and all times. This occured September 29/30th, 2009. Since then, the bank foreclosed on my home and Ive been unemployed. I didnt break in, nor did I steal my neighbor's medication. Id like to know if there is a local lawyer that will take my case pro bono?

I would make an application for a public defender. They will help you.
I agree with the previous answer. When you go to court, say that you want to apply for a public defender. They will give you a form to fill out, called a '5A'. This form asks for details about your financial situation. The judge will then review the form. If you qualify, the judge will assign a public defender to defend you.
