Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

lost money

I was helping a friend buy a car. He

withdrew $10,000 in cash and left it

in the trunk of my rental car. We

went drinking and i returned the car

to the rental company and boarded a

flight while drunk. I only remember

bits and pieces from the night. The

money is gone and he has filed a

report and i am a suspect. What

should i do??
