Re: minor charges on my brother

First of all, these charges are not minor. They are serious. The court will only decide his bail. This case is a long way away from trial. The best thing you can do for him is to hire a good attorney.

I practice in Clifton, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss the case.

So long as the bottle did not land near the manager so that it would appear he meant it to hit her he should be fine, eventuallly. His bail should be substantially reduced.

Call me if you like.

Re: minor charges on my brother

Assault with a deadly weapon and a $15,000.00 bail are not minor charges. It is a serious charge and depending on the circumstances he may end up with a criminal record and prison time. If your brother's bail is not reduced to something he can afford he will have to stay in jail until his case goes to court. I strongly advise you to consult with a lawyer about this either over the phone or in person. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to this in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss this case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Re: minor charges on my brother

As noted by my fellow gurus these charges may be very serious and not minor. In terms of the consequences of a conviction, they are serious charges as noted. In terms of intent and where the bottle landed, there may less of a likelihood of conviction but a lawyer is needed in any event.
