Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

minor talking to adult

I am 24 and I was talking to a 15yr old. We talked about having sex but I never acted on it. We talked on the phone too. Can I get into trouble for that?

Have you never seen "to catch a predator"? What do you think all of those guys did? Yes, of course you can get in trouble. I suggest you retain an attorney ASAP if you feel that the police may charge you, call you, etc.
