Re: minor/parent confidentiality

The minor can restrict what the attorney can tell the parent by instructing the attorney not to divulge certain information to the parent. This is not normally a problem because the parent usually has a relationship with the minor wherein this instruction is not normally given. When the minor is not in custody the parent brings the minor to the attorney's office and is present while the attorney and the minor confer.
