Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
On Monday November 30th I recently filed an incident report on a defendent. I would like to drop charges and have the court date dismissed. I have already tried contacting the warren county court house and the prosecutors office. I already tried asking the officer that was involved with this case and he has not gaven me a straight answer. I really need someones help. I am only 18. I do not think that pressing charges is the correct thing to do or even nessiscary.

The plaintiff in a criminal case is the State of New Jersey. You are merely the complainant/witness. It is necessary to persuade the County Prosecutor not chose against continuing prosecution of the charge filed by you. I would be glad to assist you in this regard.
