Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

neighbor dispute

i have lived on my street for 17yrs. friends with all & never had a problem with the police. i have a neighbor of 4 years. we were friends for two until i had to park out side of his house one day. i was parked legal. since then, he will call the police on me for anything, parking, ''not loud'' music or baseball game. he tells the police i use profanity's at him & his family. i never have nor have i spoke a word to him. he had a lawyer (friend) send a letter stating they feel threatened for their lives & stop parking outside his house or they will file charges.he even wrote a letter to the township to have my basketball hoop removed from my front yard! every street in the twp has b-ball hoops on them. he had got no where with the complaints of parking & sound. and with no reaction from me towards his harassments. he filed bias-intimidation, stalking, etc. charges. it went to the county grand jury and was dismissed before trial based on all the info i have. he even had the police make my daughter move her car for blocking him in - his car was the one on the other side. i am going to file harassment charges against him. he has gone beyond these complaints. how should i word the harassment charge to sound intelligent -help!

Re: neighbor dispute

The police or court will word it for you, but it might be time to just move on. I'm sure that's the last thing you want to hear, but trust me, you are going to waste a lot of time over nothing. Lets say he actually gets convicted. What do you think will happen to him? Nothing, just a fine. All of this other stuff will continue and in fact, it might even get worse.
