Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Neigher Dispute
My 17 year old son was punched by a man that lives next door. He was on the divider of property getting a ball. There has been ongoing harrasment from this man for the last two years. We have four children witnesses and one adult witness, unrelated to us, who did not show up in court. It is a civil municipal complaint. Can we somehow subpoena this woman to come to court? She seen the whole thing happened and was very upset with it.

Re: Neigher Dispute
Yes, you can. The court should be able to help you with that. You could get an attorney to represent you here, but that could get expensive.
Re: Neigher Dispute
If you have no attorney you should speak to the court clerk ans request that she issue a subpeona for the woman. Usually the clerk will assist you.
