There are no average fines, just maximum fines. Harassment has a maximum fine of $500.00. Criminal mischief has varying maximum fines depending upon the value of the damage to property. The most minor level of criminal mischief has a maximum fine of $1,000.00. You can end up in jail for either offense. Hire an attorney.

These are both violations of the criminal code and you do face jail time. The fines depend upon the degree of the crime, but can be thousands of dollars. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various cases throughout New Jersey in the past. Pleas contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

1000 and 500. Yes, you could go to jail for 6 months on the first on, 30 days on the other.

I strongly suggest you get an attorney. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

Average fines are not always the fines handed down...

You should consult with someone who you trust can handle the situation. What county are we talking about? What is your arrest history like? How old are you? Are you working?
