Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
if someone opened a soda machine as an assisiant manager to get water for an upset employee witch is done by other managers and finds the money bracket open and off track and full,removes the bills all bills fixes the bracket and closes top. then takes the money to the managers draw leaves it there till the cash room employee is done with his work and opens the door . this person went back to work to finish and wait for access to safe with cashroom employee but is then accused by security of stealing the money and arrested ! charged with 2c-20-3a a disorderly persons offense. should this be dismissed if the state can't prove intent to deprive? they never said they didn't take it from machine.the money was in the draw when asked where it was put.

You should hire an experienced criminal attorney, and assuming you are successful, consider suit against the employer---I think you acted very responsibly and did not deserve this shoddy treatment
