Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
operating a vehicle witout owners consent.
Simply put, how much time is one facing for operating a vehicle without the owners consent? Ordinance number being 39:4-48.

I'm not in my office so I can't check any of my books, but I don't see you facing any "time" at least not for this ticket. Its just a $100 fine. However, if the facts of the case would indicate that you may be facing criminal charges, I suggest retaining an attorney. Especially because this ticket is rarely issued by itself and instead is part of a car theft charge.
