Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
pardons
I have just found out that I most likely need to wait an additional 4 and a half years to have my record expunged. I'm considering applying for a pardon. My conviction of a 2nd degree felony was seven years ago and I have graduated from Rutgers since then with a BA in Business Management. I would like to apply for a new job but am concerned about my record. If I were to receive a pardon, would that clear my record for employment? Thank you for your help.
