What are the penalties of law for threatening death to another person over the phone?

Depends on how you are charged. If 3rd degree terroristic threats, 3 to 5 years in prison, or probation or probation with jail. Either way, you will have a criminal record. Call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss.

In New Jersey making a terroristic threat is a third degree crime, punishable by up to five years in prison.
