Re: penalty for aggravted arson
Aggravated Arson, under NJ Statute 2C:17-1, is a crime of the second degree. This means the penalties can be as high as 10 years in state prison and tens of thousands of dollars in fines. These are the maximum penalties. I strongly suggest you hire an attorney to represent you in this case if you are charged with such a serious crime. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
