Penaltys for possesion of marijuana with intent to distribute
What is a likely punishment for a 17 year old, on his first offense, for possesion of less than 50 grams of marijuana with intent to sell?

It is difficult to answer your question without knowing all of the facts of your case because there may be a few options. Typically, however, it would not be uncommon to be able to get you nto a program whereby, if you stayed out of trouble, you would just have some fines and maybe community service. There is also the possibility that you could arrange a type of plea whereby you would not have a record if you did not get into any further trouble.
