Probably nothing if the State does not seek to use any statements they made when they were in custody. Let your lawyer handle all of the legal issues. Call me anytime at 732/773/2768 to discuss.

Miranda rights only apply to any statements you may have made that could implicate you and that the police want to use against you, i.e. "You have the right to remain silent". If they aren't trying to use any statments against you then this is not even an issue. If you would like to discuss your case in general please give me a call for a free consultation. Thank you.

It means that that person can request that the Court not allow to use that person's statements as part of its proofs of his guilt at trial. Call me if you like.
