Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
If a person gets caught shoplifting and is put on probabation and does community service does that go on their record, and show up on background checks.

Of course. Try getting a job at McDonalds or CVS now. You should not have pled guilty to shoplifting. You probably did not have a lawyer. Call me if you like.
