petty disorderly persons

What would constitute the sentence of jail time for a petty disorderly persons offense, if the individual has no prior criminal record?

Could be nothing, but it really depends. I've seen judges lock people up even on first offenses but this is rare. Either way, your biggest concern should be having a criminal record. Thus, I suggest that you meet with an attorney ASAP to at least discuss the case.

The maximum penalty is 30 days in jail, although whether you actually get that much jail time is determined by the facts of the case and the discretion of the judge when your case goes to court.
