Not every county has one so possibly never. It could take several months.

I assume you mean a Pre-Indictment Conference--this depends on the locality and the screening of the county prosecutor. Usually a retained lawyer may call the case screening unit to see where the case is headed and request a PIC date. You give little information here as to the circumstances and that may change things a bit.
