Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
If a police officer lies on the stand in an indictment hearing, can anything be done about it? The officer stated on the stand, that a witness for the state said ( he confessed to me ).
Records show that that statement was never said to the officer. They got their indictment and the trial is over. We just found out.
