possesion of CD's in bergen county NJ

i was caught with 5 ounces in a car and i was on the passenger side. This is my first conviction ever and i was wondering what are the choices the prosecuter would give me at the pretrial conference.

The amount of marijuana you are charged with makes this a superior court charge, fourth degree. You are potentially facing state prison time on this case. My advice to you is to hire a lawyer before you go to court in order to make sure you are properly protected. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

That is a lot and I am sure you will be charged with possession with intent. If you were in a school zone you are looking at prison time if convicted. If this was coke or heroin and you get charged with PWI, you will be looking at 2nd degree charges which is mandatory prison if convicted as well.

Thus, I strongly suggest getting an attorney ASAP. I practice in Bergen County and would be more than happy to help you. My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
