Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Is she pregant of not

If someone says that they were preganant and has twins and says that one died and one is alive, Is it possible to supeona the records to see if in fact the person was pregnant in the first place? If the person is found to be lying, is it possible to have this person jailed if they made that false statement under oath in a court of law?

I would need to know what area of the law all of this had to deal with. If you are not alleged to be the father or have any interest in these children, then I don't see what subpoena power you have for anything. Second, if the person doesn't have a prior record, they wouldn't be "jailed" for perjury in the first place and a private citizen has no right to bring a case to a grand jury which would be required for this case. Thus, I don't really see you going anywhere unless there is something more to your case.
