I have been charge and indicted for a charge of second degree theft by deception and the evidence presented at the indictment hear was false and this can be proven. But my public defender will not move or motion for dismissal. Now can I firer on dismiss a pubic defender who I feel is not working in my best interest in the state of New Jersey; before it is to late! and possibily get a Pro Bono Lawyer?

Unfortunately it is difficult to pick and choose a public defender that has been assigned. If you are unhappy with the public defender you should retain private counsel. You are welcome to contact my office to discuss.
