Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Probabtion violation question

In 1998 I was arrested for possesion of marijuana. It was a small amount and was my first and only offense of my life.It wasnt enough for them to hold me on. Anyways shortly after the incident I had back surgery and was laid up for a year. I thought I had taken care of the problem but I apparently didnt. Last week i was picked up on a warrant for my arrest from 1998, only to find out I owed $718.oo and that i had violated my probabtion somehow??? Now my question is what kind of trouble have I gotten myself in, and is there a statute of limitations on this case? i am 32 now, not 23, and i want to clear my record for good. Please help me

Re: Probabtion violation question

Since you don't know what happened to you, I can't possibly know. What I would need to do is to get all of the records and put it together to see what happened.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 and we can discuss your case. I should be around most of the weekend.

Your recollection has to be faulty because, apparently, you did not comply with some condition of your probation. I need more information.

Call me if you like.
