Re: probation

You can be violated and the Judge may impose a prison term. If it is a 3rd degree offense you can be sentenced between 3-5 years in State prison. If you have any questions, I can be reached at 201-646-9600.

Re: probation

You can have a hearing and require that they prove your urine was dirty. My clients have tried this and some were successful. If you plead guilty, there is the question of punishment because a finding or admission of a violation of probation requires resentencing which can result in more probation or a jail or prison sentence. Each case is different and requires individual evaluation in how the violation of probation charge should be approached by a defendant. You can call me at 800 273 7933 to discuss the case and/or make an appointment for a consultation. You can visit my website by clicking on www.garymooreattorneyatlaw.com.
