problem with car dealership
about 3 weeks to a month ago my girlfriend and i purchased a car from sansone auto mall. we put $4,000 down on the car and were promised that we would be approved and financed. 2 weeks later, after several phone calls, we still weren't getting any answers, so we returned the car on 12-28-06. they promised us we would get our money back, but first they would have to have the owners son sign the check since the owner was on vacation. they told us this would take a day or two. 5 days later we called back because we still had no answer, they then told us that they could transfer the $3,500 that we paid on debit card back into our account. they said this would take 72 hours. we called our bank and they said that it would only take 48 hours. it has now been over 3 days and we still have not received a penny from this dealership...all they do everytime we call is give us a story, and we've been calling several times throughout these past few weeks. they refuse to give us our money back. what can we do about this?

Re: problem with car dealership
Well if you want results fast, you only have two options that I see, take them to court by yourself or get an attorney to contact them on your behalf to work out the issue.
If you want to wait, you can contact the BBB, NJ Dept of Consumer Affairs, etc but that may take some time.
My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.
