Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
hello .. i have a question ..my boyfriend is in jail and he has 17 charges including 5 charges of burglary elements,conspiracy ..he has a $45;000 bail on this one ,probation violation,4 charges of credit card theaf,and 4 charges of theaf by unlaw taking move.and 1 charge of fraudulent use of credit card ,he's been in county jail for 4 months already ..i'd like to know how long would u think that he'll be in jail ,and how long for him to go to a state
prison..thank u .

It is all a matter of what he is convicted of, but, on first impression and without talking to him about his case, I would say that he will not be coming home by next Summerl.

Each case is unique and I would have to know exactly what he is charged with before I could answer it. I assume that he is already represented by the public defender, so maybe you can ask them.
