Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
Question
I am a college senior and was drunk and was arrested for aggrivated-simple assault of a cop. His complaint is that while, I believe it ''states while questioning me I struck him in the forearm and tried to push passed him while he was trying to conduct his duty, with the intent to cause bodily injury, while in uniform''. Apparently its a felony, i have an attorney but its been a month and nothing has been resolved. This should have been taken care of a while ago. PTI shouldn't even be an option. Any decent attorney's out their? If there are then man up, and email me.

Re: Question
Your post is missing a lot of important information. What is the specific charge(s)? Where is the case standing procedurally? Do you have a prior criminal history? Feel free to contact to discuss.
Re: Question
You seem to be under the influence of college life. You are in serious trouble but you seem to think it is no big thing. Take the safe route and take P.T.I if it is available.
