Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

question

i was put on a conditional dischage for 6 months in september for possesion of pot a small amount, under the influence of alcohol, and dissorderly conduct. A few day later i had a drug overdose and i was given a summons for being under the influence. Im due to court Feb 18th i was wondering what might happen when i go to court.

I assume that the old charge and the new charge are in the same court. You could be put out of first offender status and end up with two minor drug convictions; fines and probation.

Your conditional discharge can be revoked and you can face the actual charges and all the penalties associated with them. I would advise you to consult with a lawyer before you go back to court.
