Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey
i am about to be re-arrested by the pennsylvania police for the state of new jersey on a larceny charge stemming from an offense that occured 22 months ago. the original warrant i was held on in pennsylvania for 22 was dismissed under the granting of a writ of habeas corpus. what is my recourse to the new charges in new jersey since they stem from the same criminal offense from 22 months ago and i was incarcerated the entire 22 months awaiting extradition which the state of new jersey failed to comply with the uniform criminal extradition act?
