Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Recently I was arrested in school for having paraphernalia and for selling a 1 gram bag to my best friend. I am not a drug dealer, but now i am being charged with distribution and with possession of paraphernalia. I am 18 years old. Do i need a lawyer to represent me at my hearing? And what do you think my outcome will be. As in probation or charges.

Drug dealing is a much more serious charge than simply possession, and by accepting money for giving drugs to your friend you were in fact dealing drugs, even if it was just that one time. That having been said, yes you need a lawyer because you are facing heavy fines, loss of yor driver's license, and possible jail time. There are ways to minimize these harsh penalties, so please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-

I agree with my colleagues. Many young people have no clue as to the seriousness of a simple act such as what you were involved in. An experienced lawyer can minimize the consequences.

I practice in NJ and PA. Feel free to call me if you wish ( no charge to talk)

All counsel are correct - you need an attorney and should not discuss the case with anyone until you have met with one.

We have a number of lawyers here who could assist you. Please call for an appointment if you are interested.
