Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I was recently charged with harassment. The maximum punishment in my state for this is 6 months in jail and a $1000 fine. I'm 20 years old and I don't have a prior record whatsoever. Do you think they will send me to jail?

Possibly not, but why risk a criminal record? Hire a good attorney to take care of it for you. Call me at 732/773/2768 to discuss.

It is highly unlikely, but you should still defend yourself.

If you are a first offender then there is a presumptin against imprisonment, but each case is unique so nobody can say for sure at this point what your actual outcome will be. Please call me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

It is highly doubtful, but you still could have a record, so an attorney would be a good investment...
